With over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Linda has worked tirelessly within the psychiatric and elderly population. Her compassionate and empathetic nature has shaped her approach to caregiving, instilling a deep sense of empathy and understanding in her interactions with others. Additionally, as a Life Motivation Coach for over 17 years, Linda has provided guidance and support to countless individuals, helping them overcome obstacles and achieve personal growth.
Linda's dedication to the welfare of others extends beyond her professional endeavors. She actively participates in a wide range of organizations and initiatives, including the National Alliance On Mental Illness, Substance and Mental Health Services Administration, Voters 4 Voiceless, Long Island Brady Chapter United Against Gun Violence, Cambodian American Community, and the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless, among others. Through her involvement, Linda effectively addresses various social issues and advocates for positive change.
Recognized for her remarkable achievements and contributions, Linda was recently nominated in January 2024 for a Global Recognition Award in her field and in June 2024 for the prestigious Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. She was also published recently in The CEO Weekly online magazine and Women’s Journal online magazine. In November 2023 Linda was mentioned in The Sun, a well known newspaper for participating in a sleep-out to tackle youth homelessness. She has been invited to share her insights and experiences through radio interviews in 2023 with Kelsunn-on-the-Air Social Work Podcast, Nassau Community College radio station WHPC 90.3 FM in April 2011 and July 2013, as well as Hofstra University's WRHU 88.7 FM radio station in July 2013.
In April 2018, Linda had the privilege of attending the Multicultural TV Summit at The Stewart Hotel in NYC, where she had the opportunity to network with industry professionals and gain valuable insights on critical topics such as equality, gender balance, immigration, and workplace safety.
